the difference of line from line segment is that .. LINE is represented by straight line with a infinite direction wether it is from left or right while LINE SEGMENT is inclose by two dots that make it uninfinite because the two dots represents the ending of the lline.... the RAY in other way is a portion of a line which starts at a point and goes off in a particular direction to infinity... :)
