how wind break down rocks

Sagot :

Weathering is the breaking down of rocks through contact with earth's atmosphere  and waters.Overtime wind can carve stone by means of erosion. The wind can carry tiny particles of sand and stone and overtime, carve little bay little from larger stones. Usually, unless there is a natural cleavage in the stone, it will not break apart, but it will lose mass and form another shape determined  by the winds.....

I hope this helps.....
