The

to always be loyal to your partner no matter what. Even in the face
of death, Chunyang still did not give in to the advances of the
governor when her husband left the village. The second lesson is a
lesson about courage. Even when the King Officer (who was secretly
her husband in disguise), offered Chunyang a way out of prison if she
would give herself to him, she did not cave in. This is probably one
of the bravest things that a person can do. Last, there is a lesson
on faith. Remaining loyal has always been a choice even though your
partner is far away. It takes a huge amount of faith for both parties
to be apart and still willing wait for each other.
