Can you give me examples of linear equations with no exponent??? minimum of 5 please... thanks...

Sagot :

1)  3x + 4 = 16
     3x = 16 - 4
     3x = 12
    3x/3 = 12/3
    x = 3

2)  y = mx + b   (linear equation involving two variables, in Cartesian Plane)
     y = 4x + 6

3)  5z = 5
     5z/5 = 5/5
     z = 1

 4)  10y - 25 = 45
       10 = 45 + 25
       10y = 70
        10y/10 = 70/10
         y = 7

5)  3 (5x - 2) = 12x +18
     15x - 6 = 12x + 18
     15x - 12x = 18 + 6
      3x = 24
      3x/3 = 24/3
      x = 8

NOTE:  Linear equations have a degree of 1, meaning the leading term has an exponent of 1, which is understood if not written.
