RNA (ribonucleic acid) is a copy of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) that goes out into the cytoplasm to tell the cell what to do
in order to stay alive. RNA is a single stranded ribonucleic acid. Similar to DNA, its sugar is ribose not deoxyribose.
Messenger RNA or mRNA is complementary to DNA. It sends a message from DNA to
the cytoplasm.
