Multiple and divisibility are related to each other. Any number is said to be divisible by 3 if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3. For instance, 3,912 is divisible by and is a multiple of 3 since 3+9+1+2=15, and 15/3=5. Sure enough, 3912/3 = 1304. Notice that numbers above 200 that are divisible by and are multiples of 3 is 201 (2+0+1=3), 204 (2+0+4=6), and so on. Thus, the smallest multiple of 3 that is greater than 200 is 201.
