- Keesh is a thirteen-year - old boy in the story. Who decided to continue his father's good deeds?. He wanted to feed every villager like his dad did. He is opposed to the council for offering them an unjust division of meat. As the tale unfolds, the child became a professional hunter whom the villager had so much to do with his invented means of hunting. He was known for his head-craft, which used his brain to hunt.
- His comments were really straight forward. Very harsh in order for the council to get aghast, his acts were easy in killing a big bear with his own work I mean using a thin whale bone and his reasons was to bring more meat and make the people still remember the existence of his father even though his father was dead.
