Fill the blender with water: Fill the blender jug halfway with hot water from a kettle or the faucet. Dish soap: Just a dab of dish soap will be enough. Put the blender pitcher back on the base and cover the lid with a towel to turn it on. Allow the blender to run for about 10 seconds after turning it on. Rinse the blender completely with extra hot water after pouring off the hot water. Ta-da! You should have a completely clean blender with no leftover smoothies, soups, or puréed baby food.
