Voice is the property of the verb that shows whether the subject is the doer or the receiver of the action in the sentence.
A verb is in the active voice when the subject does the action.
e.g. I did the script.
A verb is in the passive voice when the action is done to the subject. In other words, the subject receives the action.
e.g. The script was done because the girl hates cramming.
