To determine the place value in whole numbers, count on how many places it takes from the right:

Well, the order is: ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands, . . . from right to left.
So here 2 = ones, 0 = tens, 3 = hundreds, 2 = thousands, and 5 = ten thousands.
That is how you do it :)
