quadration equation which can be solve extracting square roots

Sagot :

In the form ax² + c = 0  or a(x-b)² + c = 0,  where a≠0

1)  x² - 49 = 0
    [tex] \sqrt{x ^{2} } = \sqrt{49} [/tex]
    x =  +7 or -7

2)  y²-2 = 34
    y² = 34 + 2
    y² = 36
   [tex] \sqrt{ y^{2} } = \sqrt{36} [/tex]
   y = 6 or -5

3)  (x-6)² = 64
     [tex] \sqrt{(x-6) ^{2} } = \sqrt{64} [/tex]
     x - 6 = 8
     x = 8 + 6
     x = 14
     or
     x = -8 + 6
     x = -2
