Sagot :
Integers are whole, rational numbers and could be positive or negative. -4, 3, 5, 106 and -53 are integers. There are some rules in multiplying and dividing integers. Multiplying and Dividing integers with same signs will result to a positive number while multiplying and dividing integers with different signs will result to a negative number.
Example:
Multiplying
3 · 5 = 15
-4 · -6 = 24
3 · -6 = -18
-5 · -3 · -2 = -30 -5 · -3 · -2 = 15 · -2 = -30
Dividing
4 ÷ 2 = 2
-18 ÷ -2 = 9
5 ÷ -1 = -5
-36 ÷ -3 ÷ -2= -6 -36 ÷ -3 ÷ -2 = 12 ÷ -2 = -6
