food
shelter

First, animals and humans both need food. The thing here is that animals can eat plants and animals can eat plants also, and plants, can make their own food. While animals and humans, cannot. So they both need food, and they depend on their surroundings in order to eat food.
Second, animals and humans both need a shelter. Animals and humans cannot live without shelter, an animal need to go to a place where it is comfortable with, especially the source of food, called "habitat". Humans needs shelter in which he/she is comfortable with, where he/she can live, called "house. So they both need shelter.
Third, animals and humans both need air, animals releases carbon dioxide, humans also releases carbon dioxide, animals takes in oxygen, humans take in oxygen. Without air, animals and humans will both die. And that will happen if plants aren't there to serve as the supplier of oxygen for animals and humans. So they both need air.
