First, an adaptation is any characteristic, structure, or a behavior that is modified as a purpose for animals to survive. The different adaptations are:
Adaptation for protection:
Protective coloration- Animals that blend in with the color of a plant or a object.
Protective mimicry- Animals that disguise themselves o avoid being harmed or caught by bigger animals.
Noxious odors- Some bugs and animals that protect themselves by releasing such noxious and poisonous odors in order for other animals to stop eating them.
