Sound is the vibration of molecules that moves through matter, most likely gases like the air. The sound travels through the air via vibrations of the air molecules, the vibrations happen because air molecules crashes with each other. The sound will soon reach the ear and then ear drum where it is still moving and then the sound will be interpreted by our brain.
