you must look place that your plant will suits, then if it can, do the land preparation, such as cleaning the area and level, clearing, harrowing, farrowing, leveling. etc...after the land preparation you may plant the variety of plant you want to plant, maintain the soil, healthy and cultivated, you may put organic fertilizer such as vermi cast, checkin dung, any waste of herbivore animals, and of course water it twice or thrice a day.
