Answer:
The Story of Orpheus has different versions of the resolution. In one of the known versions, it tells about how Orpheus failed to bring Eurydice back to life because he was not able to follow the only condition of not looking back upon walking towards the world of the living.
Due of his overwhelming excitement, he looked back to Eurydice, which caused Eurydice to disappear. Her disappearance left Orpheus in so much pain and misery.
In another version, it said that he was killed and torn into pieces by the order of Dionysus because he allegedly preferred worshiping the rival god, Apollo. There was a different version however, where a happy ending was the resolution of the story. It was said that he was brought back to life by a mysterious religion after being inspired by his music.
