Sometimes using quadratice formula in problems like this aren't useful (if they are factorable)
1. (x+1)(x+3)=0
then the roots are -1 and -3
2. (3x-3)(2x+6)
then the roots are 1 and -3
3.(x+7)(x-3)=0
then the roots are -7 and 3
Always remember if you use quadratice formula in a factorable polynomials it might give you a near answer but not the "exact"
