The reason behind the
Gods allowing Orpheus and Eurydice to be reunited is the irresisstible power
coming from Orpheus' music which he sang to the Gods. On the other hand, the
Gods might have seized the opportunity to teach Orpheus a lesson of not to defy
destiny.
