There are no shortcuts for math. Other ways are typically known as shortcut but I think its just another method of solving... But it takes technique to do it fast. Learn to listen well, practice regularly, and join on contests even you are not really good. But its only a mindset. Everyone's capable of joining contests. Try and try until you succeed your goal...
