how do you add subtract multiply and divide integers

Sagot :

When Subtracting and Adding integers
(+2)-(+5)=+3
(-2)-(+4)=+6 (I added the two numbers because the signs are opposite numbers)

(-4)+(+5)=+1 (I subtracted the two numbers because the signs are opposite numbers)

Note: This is for the numbers with opposite signs. When putting the sign of the Answer choose the higher number example -2 and +4. You will choose + integer because 4 is higher than -2.

When Multyplying and Dividing (self-explanatory) Just notice the signs i answered

Multiplying:
(+5)*(-1) = -5
(+5)*(+5) = +25
(-5)*(-5) = +25

Dividing:
+5/-5 = -1
+5/+5 = 1
-5/-5 = 1
Note: / means divide

Hope it helps to you :)
-7+5= ?
if the sign of the two given no. is unlike sign... just change the plus sign to minus, then solve it...

-7+5 change the plus sign to minus sign.... so -7 - 5 just focus on the (7-5) = 2 just copy the sign of the bigger number.... (-7)

so the answer is -2
