why does the amount of heat received by places far from the equator become less?

Sagot :

The places near the equator receives more heat from the sun other than the far latitudes. It is because of the ITCZ or Intertropical Convergence Zone, the places near the equator receives more heat for being direct from the sun rays, the heat then from the other places of course moves to the place where there are more heat and the heat rises and more clouds are then formed at the places near the equator.
