why do moonsons occur?

Sagot :

Monsoons are sudden seasonal reversals in wind direction. For example the monsoon which blows over Southern Asia, occurs during the summer time( ie during the period June to September) every year. This is the result of the differential solar-heating between the Northern Hemisphere(where land mass is more) and the southern hemisphere (where ocean area is more).Monsoons are similar to sea and land breezes over a coastal region.
Monsoons always blow from cold to warm regions. The summermonsoon and the winter monsoon determine the climate for most of India and Southeast Asia. The summer monsoon is associated with heavy rainfall. It usually happens between April and September.
