based on my study,
its not like conquered the Philippines ,just because it was discovered by navigator that the main goal is to find the island of spices near Indonesia also the effect of sickness and lack of food , they stop for a while .
After , discovering the island they decided to conquered it because of people's good manner and the bountifulness of this archipelago that rich of golds minerals and spices that needed during the Colonialism.
