Faith is a strong belief or trust in someone or something. This is usually used to describe religion. This is when you have no proof of this thing existing or so.
Belief is when you put your confidence or trust into someone or something. You do not necessarily pledge your loyalty to what you believe in. You often base this off of evidence . :)
They are synonymous to each other.
